Exporting is not an easy task: competition is strong and worldwide. But there is still a big market for well done wines, specially the good quality/price relation ones, and a strong marketing strategy.
Based on this thoughts, a Portuguese team created Azul Portugal, a brand capable of getting together all these characteristics in one single line of products.

HAD A GLASS
2008-11-17

Azul Portugal Bairrada is featured in the book "HAD A GLASS"

The definitive down-to-earth guide to choosing a low-price, high-caliber bottle of wine. "Who else... knows more about cheap wines than budget-conscious grape enthusiasts Kenji Hodgson and James Nevison." - Fred Lee, CBC''s Man About Town

Nowhere has wine been explained and explored with less pretension than in Kenji Hodgson and James Nevison''s Had a Glass series. The newest edition, Had a Glass: Top 100 Wines for 2009 Under $20, delivers more of the invaluable information and irreverent reviews that wine novices and experts alike have come to depend on.

Alongside the "Under $20" reviews (and a special splurge section for extravagant moods), Had a Glass 2009 delivers pretty much every other morsel of information the casual, yet dedicated, wine drinker needs to know: easy charts that decode varietals and offer suggestions; a glassware glossary; and a section of food and wine pairings. Hodgson and Nevison even suggest wines to match one''s frame of mind. Where can you find a good Wednesday wine for your middle-of-the-week blues? Only in Had a Glass.
